Meandering

I've always loved meandering. As a dancer, I could meander through a studio for hours in an infinite amount of ways and be endlessly entertained. Walking outside with the freedom to follow a deer path or sit by a stream, simply observing life around me, is an essential hobbie. Practicing Pilates and other forms of mindbody movement modalities is also a meander for me. There is a circuitous journey that at first may seem indirect, but ultimately winds us through a vast landscape of endless learning where we are progressing without forcing ourselves to "make progress". At MoveWise my intention is to embrace the meandering life force and create a space where:
there is strength in rest
there is power in small movements
there is energy in stillness
there is confidence in vulnerability
there is flexibility in honoring your limitations
there is balance in a wobble
there is beauty in knowing one’s self (and saying f*ck it to conventional standards of beauty)
there is health in adaptability
